Sri Lanka runs on two monsoons, so somewhere on the island is always in season.
The southwest (Yala) monsoon brings rain to the west and south roughly May to September, while the northeast (Maha) monsoon turns to the east and north around October to January. When you tell us your dates, we’ll time Kandyto the window it’s at its best — and route the rest of your journey to the coast that’s in the dry.
